Today, a piece of my heart has left me. My great grandfather, Walt Duloft, passed away at the age of 85 on this 5th of November 2012. He was my history book. He was my gateway into the what the world used to be before and after WWII. He was my confidence builder. Whenever I was feeling bad about myself, even if he didn't know, he would tell me that with each passing day, I've been growing into a beautiful young woman. He inspired me to draw too. I'll never forget those stories he would tell us about his days as a kid or his days in the navy and in the air force. I don't know what I'm gonna do with myself anymore. METROCON WAS SO FREAKIN AWESOME!!! It was the 15th-17th, and unfortunatly I had to leave at 4 on the 16th. It was still a good experience and i totally recommend it to any anime fan who just wants to have some fun over the summer. Im not obsessed like some people are; anime is just that one thing that turns me into a nerd. Its kinda like im in the anime genre of nerds.. The first day, i didnt dress up becasue i wanted pictures for facebook and i was too lazy (lawl..) however, the next day i did. I was Luka Megurine; one of the many Vocaloids. I felt very confident in my outfit, which is very surprising since im so self-concious. the bad part
